The Devan Beanie | A Knit Hat Pattern

Updated: 3 days ago

Some of the best things are unexpected. When I first started this pattern, I had a totally different end goal in mind. In fact, it wasn't until I finished a hat and turned it inside out that I noticed how beautiful the stitch pattern was on the opposite side of the hat. I quickly added the stitch combo onto my list of future creations and that's how the Devan Beanie Pattern was born.

For this pattern, I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Quick and Thick. The pictures shown feature the color Mustard, but they have tons of beautiful colors. You will see me use this yarn frequently as they have so many color options to choose from. The quality of the yarn is great, it is affordable, and I love how quick and easy it knits up! It's also machine washable which is a huge plus for a mom of a 2 year old.

Materials List:

  • 6 Super Bulky Weight Yarn – Lion Brand Wool-Ease Quick and Thick

  • US Size 13 circular needles (9 mm)

  • Place Marker

  • Faux Fur Pom Pom

  • Tapestry Needle

New to knitting? Here are the abbreviations I will be using throughout the pattern.
